2013 so do have to go to the immigration depatment to get an extension of 90 more days?

I have a 12 month multi entry retirement visa which expires on 30th July 2013. I flew into Bangkok from Australia on the 14th of July 2013. Do i have to report to Immigration department to get a 90 day extension or is this just automatic ???
