Question about double-entry visa to Thailand
Hi!
I want to travel to Thailand on a double-entry visa and travel around the neighbouring countries after my first stay in Thailand. My question is: How long can I stay out of Thailand and travel and then re-enter for the 2nd period?
Does the double-entry visa expire after a while, or can I even travel for say 3 months through other countries and then, when I come back to Thailand the 2nd entry of my visa is activated?
Thanks!
Franziska

change of visa type
My Non Immigrant Business Visa Type B will expire in about 1 month from now. I want to change to a Retirement Visa afterwards but my funds of THB 800,000 will be by then in my private bank account for just 1 month. So I have to wait for one more month till the funds are in for 2 months and I can apply for the Retirement Visa.
What should I do to cover the 1 month gap between Business Visa and Retirement Visa?
Do I have to leave the country to obtain the Non Immigrant Type O Visa for the Retirement Visa or can this be arranged within Thailand?
I would be very grateful to receive your advice and suggestions. Thank you in advance.

visa or not?
Hello - am preparing for my visit to Thailand. 2 years ago, i stayed 33 days & got fined for 3 days overstaying. this time, i plan to stay around 40 days and would like to know what is the best / most convenient way to execute it? i understand that a visa could be obtained once i arrive - for approx. US$50.00 but it would entail some sort of paperwork >> bank statement etc. which i might not have avail. during my stay in Thailand. overstaying 10 days means 5000 baths fined - but would it cause any problem with immigration as well? any suggestion is greatly appreciated. david.

how do you find other expats for dating?
I am a widow considering moving to Thailand, how can I find other expats for dating?

It sounds like doing a land visa run will only allow me to return to the country for 14 days. How do I get a visa for 30-90 days by doing a visa run?

Expat to Thailand
I was under the assumption that in order to expat to Thailand you had to have $27,500.00 American dollars in a Thai bank for a minium of 3 months in order to expat there. Is this true
